The data on drinking water and wastewater charges in the shower calculator of the NRW consumer advice center is based on statistical data from IT.NRW and refers to the year 2019. The current drinking water and wastewater charges may differ from the data from 2019. The natural gas price was set at 12 cents per kilowatt hour. The actual consumption values, costs and savings may vary depending on many factors, such as the efficiency of the heating system, the outside temperature, the water pressure, the flow rate of the shower head used, individual showering behavior and the individual costs for water and energy.
